The Environmental Education Association of the Yukon (EEAY) is a registered Yukon non-profit group comprised of Yukoners interested in environmental, outdoor and global education.
Currently, we have representation from numerous groups involved with environmental education in the Yukon including private citizens, elementary, secondary & post-secondary teachers and local/regional environmental organizations.
EEAY was formed in the early 1990's as a registered Yukon society open to all.
Our mandate: "To promote environmental education in the Yukon and foster communication between individuals and groups with an interest in environmental education".
Our vision "We imagine a world where all learners have adequate opportunity to discover the natural world and gain an understanding of the ecosystems that support all life, and are encouraged to live responsibly on this planet."
Main activities include regular public "sharing meetings" which include a feature presentation and roundtable updates from all attendees (see Events).
